A deceptively large and surprisingly wet-led pub on a triangular junction. The long, narrow main bar is heavily beamed in the middle and has a curious mezzanine bit at the pointy end. Another bar is visible behind, a function room perhaps. The decor is dark green and white, and it was nicely cool on a warm day. Beers on were London Pride, TT Landlord, Pedigree and Otter Ale. There was an issue with a couple of them (early doors) as barrels had gone off in the warm weather, but sorted without fuss and the replacements were fine.

A side street pub presumably of some age given its irregular external shape.Inside there is one long room set into separate areas most of which is low ceilinged with ancient looking wooden beams. To one end there is a small upstairs lounge area, there's also a separate function room to the rear of the pub.Five handpumps on the bar and all were in use, Doom Bar and Coaster from Sharps,Bath Gem, Ringwood Fortyniner and Truman's Swift. All in all quite a decent pub.
