The Cheese Hall has banquette seating in the front window to the left of the entrance and to the right where there was also some DJ equipment set up. The banquette seating continues up the right hand wall where it is faced by the bar along the left wall. At the rear of the pub is some more seating and a dartboard. Televisions are located throughout and there was a Premier League football match airing via BT Sport during my visit early on Saturday afternoon. Whilst supping I spotted old cheese graters hanging from the ceiling, which had me scratching my head for a few seconds before recalling the pubs name. I’m not sure if this pub actually has any links to cheese other than being in Cheshire.
The bar is stocked with premium and standard draught along with Sharp’s Doom Bar which was being drawn from the only operational handpump, three went unused. This place is OK for a town centre sports pub, but nothing more.

Five hand pumps with Hobgoblin and Robinsons Dizzy Blonde available when I looked in the other day. It was very busy, with pre-match drinking being done at a loud volume. There are better pubs around here (viz: Hops and Borough Arms) so I didn't join the queue at the bar.

Not too bad a pub and a standard issue town centre pub. Real ale available.

This town center pub has got its original name back, Cheese Hall. It is now a Marstons house. Worth a visit.

This pub used to be called the Cheese Hall and it was a Whitbread tied house.
This pub is now a Banks's tied house and once inside the pub has been opened out with the bar in the middle of the room and seating on three sides of it.
There was only one real ale on here this was Banks's bitter and this was a decent drink.
