Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Flying Lady

No indication of where the unusual name of this housing estate pub originated from, but at least it turns out to be much tidier and well-maintained than most of its ilk. The polygonal space in front of the counter is formed from two equal parts; a lounge / dining area on one side and a more basic area with the pool table and a limited amount of extra seating. Also has some garden tables at the back of the car park. Just the regular 6X (£3.00) available from one of three handpumps, but at least it still does a real ale.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Flying Lady

The Flying Lady is a 70s built estate pub.
This pub looks a lot better than a lot of estate pubs i have been in and once inside the pub was open plan and quite smart and comfortable.
There were two real ales on here i had a drink of Tetley bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a few drinks in.
