Wow… The furniture… White leather (may be faux) chairs and low sofas all emblazoned with Versace emblem, as are the glass topped tables and coffee tables with ornate golden legs. The wooden bar and door frames are immaculately polished, the governor is certainly looking after this place since the recent refurb. The U shaped bar faces the entrance, lots of standard, premium and craft keg is available. During the refurb the laminate flooring hasn’t been replaced, so the splendor of the new carpet from the entrance around to the left of the bar is somewhat lost when one’s eyes are drawn to the stained flooring in the corners.
This place isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea as it feels like a cross between a hotel bar and gaudy out-of-town curry house, but I’m sure the Instagramers of Crewe will enjoy posting pictures of their visit online, which will hopefully bring in the punters.

No longer a Robinsons pub and although there are still four hand pumps on the bar, there was no real ale available when I called in the other day.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Crown Hotel

Refurbished Robinson's pub between the town hall / municipal buildings and the Earle Street bridge. Opened out inside to leave a 'J'-shaped bar with semi-traditional furniture but light decor. A couple of notices caught my attention; one saying that the pool queue deposit is £5, but the other proclaiming that a starter or desert could be obtained (presumably with a main meal) for just 5p! On the real ale front, Unicorn and Wizard (£2.30) are available from the four handpumps.
