A family-run Free House Pub that has been serving the local community for over twenty years, The Flying Fortress is anything but ordinary. Set on an old World War II Airfield just outside of Bury St Edmunds, the venue is home to a wealth of memorabilia from the era, matching that of many museums.

As well as a superb range of drinks, with Real Ales Adnams, Mauldons and local guest brewers, the pub is also famed for its wonderful Roast Carvery, served regularly throughout the week as well as a full menu that is always available. Choose to sit in the pub or even one of the two restaurant areas to enjoy your meal. Complete with a Children's menu filled with old favourites, families are also most welcome.

The Flying Fortress is the perfect venue for Conferences, Meetings or Parties. Offering a competitive DDR rate for businesses looking to hold events, or a whole host of function options for families looking for a Wedding Reception or Birthday Party venue, check www.theflyingfortress.co.uk for full details or give us a call on 01284 787665.
