The Lamarsh Lion is a community pub located in a small village. It was saved from closure by the locals. Always good to see a pub saved and this is a great example. 4 beers on when I called including a couple of local ales - Mauldon Silver Adder and one from the Wolf brewery. I went for the Silver Adder which was excellent. I had a good chat with the landlord and enjoyed my visit. I was staying in the next village and he arranged to deliver a pub meal to us that evening. I couldn't fault the service and will happily call again if I am anywhere near! Well worth calling in!
