A quasi-upmarket place. Inverse J shape interior with a side room for diners. Quarry tile flooring and magnolia painted embossed wallpaper with an unusual ‘country hunt’ themed wallpaper on the chimney breast. Dim lighting emanating from wall lamps. Quite nice and cosy, all be told. Three ales on - Hobgoblin Gold (very good shape), Ringwood Razorback and Pedigree. Dog friendly. It’s a nice enough place to have a decent quality pint (assuming you’re happy with the Marstons range, of course).
