Called in for the carvery last month, and although I cannot fault the food, the Marstons EPA a little uninspiring. It was a 3.6% and lacks flavour. Would go again though if in the area.
Above was in April 2011, and we called in again for a carvery on Tuesday, and it hasn't changed. Good food and it was serving Pedigree and Greene King IPA. Cheaper than usual but again, not the best of beers.

This pub is a little out of town, but worth a visit. They have a carvery which is really good value for money and a limited menu for anyone that doesnt want the carvery. Parking is opposite the pub. The deocor is not particularly inspiring - a little old fashioned by todays standards but its a good place to eat out at lunch time - but dont expect your belly to fit under your desk if you have to go back to work afterwards !
