Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crafty Beggar
Looks like a traditional corner pub, and whilst it's exactly that, the place has been given quite a light, modern, if basic refurbishment. It also extends further back than one might expect. Thankfully, one of the two handpumps was in use when I stopped by, pouring Woah Man from the nearby Manning Brewers (£3.00).

Great news this pub is reopening next week, as you can see by the photograph they are currently painting the exterior, I will get back with more details soon.
update from my recommendations late last year
I have been here numerous times and Bruce the new landlord has done a great job. always a cracking pint and great customers and staff, my previous one star is now three stars, keep up the good work bruce!
my lateast picture shows how large the pub is and now has live bands playing most weekends
