Danny O'Revey left this review about The Globe Inn

Old fashioned, friendly local pub, on busy old main road (former A5) through Old Wilnecote, raised from the road & parking difficult.

Good Beer Guided for 2012, there is one L-shaped room with a trad red patterned pub carpet, benches along the walls with wood tables & chairs. Dedications to Marstons on the walls. Slightly tired decor, but all together this appears to be a loved little local.

Two real ales - Pedigree and Oxford Gold. It takes a little time to receive your Pedigree, its pulled slowly and then topped up once settled, kind of Guiness style. Although its not my favourite beer, this care gets the most out of it & worth the wait.

A nice pub this.
