Soup Dragon left this review about Three Stirrups

A detached corner white painted brick pub, with black paintwork and a rear beer garden.

The interior has two room; a main bar room and a snug, which i didn't see much of, as the lights were out. The main bar room has inproved an awful lot since the refurbishement of the pub - re-covered seats and such like. It is in white, with an undressed brick fire hearth fearture in the middle of the room. There is a pool table and dart board and a little Wolves memorabilia on the walls - but not too much. There is a flat screen TV, showing some general stuff, with my only complaint being the juke box music is set a little loud - but not enough to cause distress! The service was very friendly and the locals that were in were friendly, making way as everyone knew each other and were congregated at the bar - there was a nice bye, when we left.

Beer; tap stuff, with Banks's Bitter and a decent Timothy Taylor Landlord on handpull.

What was very much the junior of the 4 village centre pubs has now grown a little more - very much worthy of a visit, though still a more limited choice than it's neighbours - but the Landlord is worth you going in for!
