The Stafford Arms was one of the closest pubs to Staffords train station,so it was handy if waiting for or getting off a train.
I first visited this pub with Nottingham Camra on 17/2/1990 and the pub was a free house with a good choice of real ales on the bar,when i did my second visit to this pub it had been taken over by Titanic brewery which was no bad thing.
Once inside there was a decent sized room that was quite comfortable,there may have been other rooms but i did'nt look.
There was a decent choice of Titanic beers on the bar plus a few guest beers.
I dont know what happened to this pub but it is a great shame that a proper pub with a very good choice of beers on the bar as now closed down.
