Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bagot Arms

Of the four pubs in the village, this one seems to be the most food-focused, although the bar area was certainly being well used for those just in for a drink. Anyway, this and the various small dining areas on both sides have been given a rather anonymous makeover, but the overall arrangement still has some character. Landlord (£4.00) and Directors were available from two of the three handpumps, but the Wainwright clip on the other was a bit misleading since only the keg version was available.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Bagot Arms

A white rendered detached Marston's chain pub/restaurant with black paintwork and nice beer garden.

The interior has three rooms. The lounge is really a dining area and is in yellow and wood panel, with high backed chairs and general prints on the walls. The bar is in a white/cream colour, with beams and a tiled floor, along with a brick fire range and again, general photos and prints on the walls. Finally, there is a games room in a peach colour and yello, with a pool table, a couple of dart boards and a couple of games machines. The service was ok and the clientele consisted of a pile of ex-Mods, talking about the appropriate number of wing mirrors on a Vespa, enjoying a beer in the garden, along with a couple of old guys playind dominoes. The bar has a TV and we watched the footy happily. By far the most impressive feature of the place was the automatic paper towel dispenser in the bogs - what will they think of next - handriers?

Beer; tap stuff with Baks's MILD and with Jennings Cumberland Ale, Banks's Bitter and Pedigree on handpull. I had the keg MILD which was fine.

A good solid pub, no complaints other than instructions for the electronic paper towel dispenser - just joking!
