Heath Farm is a Greene King pub and carvery housed in an old stone building that I assume was once part of a farm before Congleton expanded to the west. The interior is L-shaped with a central L-shaped bar counter that supports standard and premium keg alongside three hand pumps that were all off during a recent midweek afternoon visit. To the right of the bar counter is the carvery, the food is very reasonably priced so I imagine this place is busy during popular dining times. The right-hand side of the pub is very much for dining, but the left-hand section feels more pubby, even though all tables have menus as well as knives and forks in tins. There’s a pool table on a raised area in the left rear and a dartboard hangs on the left hand wall next to a television that was rolling BBC News. The service was friendly, but there are better pubs in the town centre so I wouldn’t wander out to this pub again.
