Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Greyhound Inn

Decent, no-nonsense boozer with regular live music and sports TVs to help fill the gap. Popular dartboard in the bar (with a covered area beyond) and a lounge and then a dining room on the other side of the entrance. Two real ales on handpump: Wye Valley HPA and Pogue Mahone Irish Bitter from Red Star Brewery (which proved a decent pint, and knowing what the name means meant I passed the test when ordering...).

This place seems to be primarily a music and TV Sport venue. It's a wide and open plan room split into three areas. The bar area to the right is decked out with music related images and had a prominent TV screen showing somebody getting married. To the right of the bar are two dart boards. The middle area is a room with some comfy furniture and a large TV screen showing football with the sound off. I didn't venture into the area at the far end.
I stayed in the bar area where there were a few locals and a woman engrossed with somebody getting married.
There are two hand pumps which had Wye Valley Butty Bach and Black Sheep Baa Baa Pale. I went for the Pale (£3.00) which tasted reasonable but had something of a haze.
It sounds as though it's improved since the 2009 review below but with live music or a football match being shown it wouldn't be for me.

Decent pub a few minutes out of town with 2 ales on. Wye Valley Hopfather and Bass. The beer was fine as was the service. Happy to have called in.

The pub itself is a decent enough building and decorated with plain walls, wood floor, with a TV and music. There was a small outdoor area for smoking, where the furnature had seen better days. The chap behind the bar was very friendly

The trouble was the complete lack of choice, just the usual taps with Tetley Bitter Cask. I had Guinness, which proved the point.

Its a few minute out of the town walk and sadly, i wouldnt bother.
