Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Roebuck
Very attractive Titanic pub in a fine old building, thankfully retaining a variety of semi-traditional seating / dining areas, including some at a slightly lower level than the compact bar. I found eight of the ten handpumps in use, with five of the brewery's own beers - including the Cherry Dark (£3.70) - and guests from Everards, Dancing Duck and Orkney.

Titanic brewery pub with a good ale selection, mainly from Titanic as would be expected, but we chose and enjoyed Magpie Chainless and Luna Blood Moon. I walked round the bar area through a variety of rooms. There is also an impressive tap beer selection ,

This is a cracking pub. Very old looking from the outside and once inside the pub keeps its oldish charm. 4 roomed with the servery in the room to the right. The curved bar has 10 handpumps and as its a Titanic Brewery pub the majority are Titanic beers. Steerage, Iceberg, Plum Porter, Captain Smiths, Anchor and White Star being your Titanic choices today. Everard's Tiger, Cotleigh Honey Buzzard, Bridgehouse Blonde and Steam Box Soul Train being the others. The other 3 rooms are to your left and to the rear. One rear room is sort of set up for diners and the other could pass as a waiting area for the toilets!

This looks like a very old building and it also looks genuinely old inside. As you enter the bar is in front and the wooden floored room extends down past it. On the right there is a huge old fireplace while to the left is a carpeted room with low tables and chairs. I could see no fruit machines or TV screens and there was no radio, jukebox or muzak of any description.
The bar has 10 hand pumps and all were clipped with six Titanic beers, Everard's Tiger, Signature Brew Backstage IPA, Kite Thunderbird and Ilkley Bike Rye'd. Prices ranged from £2.80 to £3.30. I went for the Titanic Blackberry Porter (£3.20) and the Backstage IPA (£3.30) both of which were excellent. I said to the barman that it was ironic that I had come all the way from London to find a beer from a brewery based a few miles from where I live and he explained that one of the Signature people is the Titanic brewer's son.
This is a superb pub and gets a strong 9 from me.

The Roebuck Hotel is a traditional, imposing black and white timbered building dating back to the 17th century in the centre of Leek.
Inside, the building has been sympathetically refurbished by Titanic and Everards as a Project William pub. It features a number of smaller rooms and is traditionally done using lots of wood. The whole feels comfortable and in keeping with the age of the building. Outside there are two or three wooden tables where you can watch the world in Leek go by whilst enjoying an alfresco pint.
As in all the Titanic pubs I've visited, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and efficient. Titanic seem to have a very clear idea about how to run a good boozer.
The ten handpumps weren't all used on our visit with beer on being: Titanic Steerage, Anchor, Iceberg, Plum Porter and White Star as well as Everards Tiger and Castle Rock Digny Pearson. The Titanic beers which we tried were excellent and in top condition. There are also 9 keg taps mounted on a copper board on the wall at the back of the bar. These featured 3 ciders, Titanic Map and Stout and 4 lagers. An excellent selection of beers across styles and strengths.
Another fantastic Titanic pub which, along with the Wilkes Head and Napoli, makes Leek an incredibly rewarding town to visit for quality ale.

As the previous reviewers point out there are 7 beers from the Titanic Brewery and 3 ever changing guest beers to go at. Enjoyed the Excellent Titanic Plum Porter so much I had to re-schedule the rest of my days snapping tour.

Called in as we were staying local to visit Leek GBG pubs. Well described below. We enjoyed our Titanic Plum Porter and Wincle Butchered beers which were in good condition. The bar was impressive with around 7 Titanic beers of varying styles and strengths, plus Everards Tiger, and the guests being from Wincle and AllGates. Envy the good folk of Leek having this one and the Cock Inn opposite each other.

Another absolute winner from Project William,featuring the outstanding ales from Titanic.It's an old building with beams and proper fireplaces but well fitted out with drinking booths opposite the bar,a slghtly sloping floor to the rear room ,a second lower level room at the rear and a restaurant section back to the front.Nicely wood panneled and some nooks and crannies.
On my trip the Titanic ales were Steerage,Sundeck,Iceberg,White Star,Plumb Porter,Captain Smith and Nine Tenths Below while Everards Tiger and Artiginale also featured.The sole guest was Springhead Roaring Meg.We went through the Titanic card and found ale quality of the highest order,with pricing around £3 pp apart from the strong ABV's.I also noticed nine keg fonts mounted in the wall a la Euston Tap,with an interesting selection of kegged beers including Titanic Stout.Lots of women in drinking wine,with fruit wines also featuring here.Rightly in the GBG,and opposite the Joules pub ,it appears they do regular ale swaps and seem cooperative according to a sign in the gents.
The only problem with this pub is that you wont want to leave,it has to be your first port of call when in Leek.

Built in 1626, this large pub is now tied to Titanic Brewery. There were ten ales on handpump on our visit, seven of which were from Titanic. The pub has a central bar and is surrounded by four drinking areas on two levels. The service was impeccable and the ales all top notch condition. They also serve food, but is mainly a drinkers pub. I went for Bath Ales Spa and Titanic Anchor and Full Steam Ahead. Defo return.

The Roebuck is in the town centre and has got a mock tudor frontage.
Once inside here the pub was well furnished and quite smart but there were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was Boddigtons smooth which i find undrinkable so i had a Guinness.
It was a shame there was'nt just one real ale on here.
