Real Ale Ray left this review about The Quiet Woman

Only one customer in on our Saturday lunchtime visit to this splendid looking pub. The pub consists of seating areas either side of the entrance. The main bar was situated in the middle of the pub on the right and the area beyond this was set out for dining, which was bathed in natural light from the roof light. The bar had a bank of tall chrome fonts and four handpumps, with two in use, serving Butcombe Bitter and Wainwright. The most offputting thing on our visit was the loud music being played and no local ales.

The Quiet Woman is on a busy road and close to a junction.
Once inside this pub was fairly big with different drinking areas the pub was quite smart and comfortable.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Phoenix Session bitter which was a fairly decent drink the other beers were Nethergate Extra pale Ale and Milestone Loxley.
I thought this was a fairly decent pub to have a couple of drinks in.

The food is great we have never had a bad meal here. The staff are friendly and the surroundings are lovely.
