Soup Dragon left this review about The Lamb and Flag

A white rendered and brick detached pub, with a huge extension at the back. The entrance on the picture, which seemed to be for the small resturant part seems closed and the route in is through a door in the side.

The interior is an open plan room, with a balcony that has its own bar, though this wasnt open when i visited. The decor is brown, white and brick amongst other things, with a wood floor. The place is a sports bar in essence, with loads of Sky TVs, some given over to a game, the others to Sky Sports News, one even had the kids playing XBOX on. There is a pool table, dart board and a bar footy game and there are a few pictures dotted on the walls for interest. Service was fine, the clientele a mix of the younger baseball caps and more the mature.

Beer; all tap stuff, with a decent enough keg Highgate MILD

The place is not really aimed at me - no real traditional feel, or real ale - it's aimed, and successfully so, at the younger chaps and those that swill the keg beers - a bit like a smaller Bar Sports
