Pretty dire even for a Wetherspoons. Whoever is supposed to clear the tables needs a rocket. Almost every one was dirty and it was only around 7.30. The main cask ale on several handpumps was apparently "coming soon" which is hopeless for a Saturday night. Having said that the one pint I did have was OK.

A terraced pub, with blue exterior.
The pub is a typical Weatherspoons pub; its open plan, with Sky Tvs all over and lots of old pictures of, in this case , Chester, on the walls. The decor is Red and white, plain and wallpapered, with some wood panel. The food was functional, as ever, the service ok as there wasnt many in to tax the staff - and certainly no drunks, a problem for other Spoons.
Beer; tap stuff, with Abbot and Ruddles on handpull, with the several guests you expect; i had the Slater's Queen Bee - a honey beer, which was fine to be fair.
Typical, if not slightly better experience from a Spoons.

Large Wetherspoon's in the city centre. Usual food deals but not much in the way of guest ales.Not one of their better outlets.
