Soup Dragon left this review about Foresters Tavern

Update: Returned to this estate pub, which does have a small rear garden area. This time I went into the bar, which had darts and pool. There was a TV showing sport and no music. A few bits of footy memorabilia were on the walls. Service was fine and a few local were in. Pedigree is still the only real ale. It remains one for the locals.

Sep 2009:A very 60s kind of place, a little large and soulless, aimed a little more for the food market i think. Two big rooms inside, clean and tidy enough and the service was fine.

The beer, apart from the tosh, was Pedigree, Banks's MILD and bitter on handpull and the MILD was fine - i guess it was just the lack of vitality when i visited that left me with a feel of a much of a muchness kind of place.

As its a little out the way, i cant see myself going back, but if you live by it, you could do worse
