The Crown is a typical looking 70s built estate pub, that is not on an estate but situated in the middle of Rawmarsh opposite a dilapidated shopping parade.
Once inside the pub has the usuall two room estate pub layout,the bar room is to the left,this room is oblong shaped and runs to the rear of the pub,bench seating ran down the left side which faced the bar,there were a couple of small tables and chairs in the middle of the room,there was a pool table to the rear and darts board to the rear left.
The lounge to the front was also oblong shaped with bench seating facing the bar.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap, which it was.
For entertainment a TV was showing a Music channel,which is something i always like to watch.
