The Falcon is a decent looking pub that is situated at the west end of Mexboroughs shopping strret,it is also close to the bus station.
Once inside there is a bar to the right, this is a nice looking room with a pool table near the entrance, the room is fairly narrow with comfy bench seating facing the bar.
There is a larger lounge to the left which extends to the rear of the pub, this room is carpeted and had small raised areas to the front left and rear right, there was also a dart board to the rear of this room, the seating was very comfy bench type with stools and chairs.
The Falcon is an Old Mill tied house and there were three pumps on the bar,all had the same beer on which was Old Mill bitter, this was a really nice drink.
I quite liked this pub and would happily stay in here for a few drinks.

Just one handpump serving Old Mill bitter when I was here, but that was in excellent nick, so what more do you want? It's an old-fashioned tile-fronted pub at the opposite end of Mexborough's shopping street from the Wetherspoons. Inside there are two bars, the lounge being subdivided by railings and a change of level, with comfortable seating and bits of stained glass here and there.
