Will Larter left this review about The Plough Inn

A pub that has been well-described by the previous reviewer. I also went for the Stones Cold, or to give it its full name Pure Gold Stones Cold. I asked the woman behind the bar who brewed it, but she said she didn't know. They started getting it after the lockdown last year when it was difficult to get hold of any John Smiths, and they've kept it on since. An old chap overhearing the conversation said it was brewed in Tadcaster. I did a bit of Googling, but it's difficult, because there is a brewery called Stone Cold which is nothing to do with this. Eventually I found a couple of Untappd reviews which linked it to Coors in Tadcaster, but unhelpfully said it is not brewed there any more. I did find out that it's a blonde rather than a bitter, but as it's so cold it doesn't really make any difference.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough Inn

A larger-than-it-initially-looks roadhouse on the Balby Road out of town, with a a relatively unaltered layout of two main bars (the lounge probably formed from two earlier spaces) and a back function room. Also has a rear beer garden. No real ales these days, unfortunately, so I went for a Stones Cold bitter (£2.90) since this is something I rarely encounter.
