Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Corporation Brewery Taps

Even for Sam Smith's, this pub - left somewhat isolated following redevelopment of the surrounding area - is right at the old-school end of the spectrum (but I'm not saying that's a bad thing...). The small lounge to the right of the entrance is comfortable, with a much larger bar (created from two rooms, with the further part housing a pool table) to the left and a snug at the back. No handpumps for the OBB, so I went for the Dark Mild (£2.20) instead.

More than a little difficult to get to due to Doncaster's obsession with pedestrian safety on their awful road system, however once you navigate the barriers it's a nice enough 1930s estate pub. A Sam Smiths pub but the OBB has been replaced with the keg version which of course means its not the usual cold vinegar and with low carbonation it was quite a pleasant pint.

As the review below says a little off the beaten track but not that far from the train station. Usual Sam Smith's selection. The pub has a pool table.

This is a Sam Smiths house, which means there's only one real ale, but I like Old Brewery Bitter, and it's only £1.80 a pint, so that's not a problem for me. The exterior looks more like a public convenience than a pub, but inside it's OK, with a drinking area around the bar and the rest of the main room focused on the pool table. We found the atmosphere friendly, but it was rather too warm, with radiators belting out the heat unnecessarily. A little off the beaten track, but worth a visit if you like Sam Smiths.
