Visited November 2017. Had been a couple of years before and there was no Willys Bitter available at the time, so was glad to get the chance to go again and try it. It set me back 89p for a half, an absolute bargain! I wouldn't say it was outstanding but you can't knock the price. There were two other real ales on which I didn't make a note of, but were not big brands.

Quite busy on my Tuesday lunch time visit. I sat near the back where you can observe the brewery through a glass window. It is very much a working brewery rather than being for show; no polished copper tanks anywhere! Seating isn't particularly comfortable, being that wobbly thin metal furniture that doesn't do well on anything other than a perfectly level floor. OK to stay for one and move on though.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Willys

Seafront bar with micro-brewery attached. Surprisingly plainly decorated, with the limited canteen-style furniture supplemented by a few metal tables on the small front patio. Also has an upstairs room (not visited). Four real ales on handpump: Willy's Original Bitter (£2.48), Fernandes Double IPA, Tom Woods Lincoln Gold and Bass.

Old Blue left this review about Willy's Pub & Brewery

Below review was from September 2012. My revisit a couple of days ago found the ales still served a tad too cold, but I was able to try the excellent Old Groyne from the on-site Willy’s brewery – an unusually flavoursome 6.2% offering, which I understand they only brew a couple of times a year.

A bare, white painted brick, warehouse-style pub with its own brewery. It was very lively both times I visited last weekend, with a mainly youngish clientele. The bar sports three handpulls, one of which I’m told is generally populated with one of their own beers – Willy’s Original Bitter at 3.8% while I was there - and the others with regularly changing guest ales, being Ossett Patriot Pale, Thwaites Original and Oldershaw Blonde Volupta during my time there. Beer quality seemed good although I found it served rather too cold, which rather put a dampener on the taste. Still, a fun place to go.

This is one of our regular haunts when visiting Cleethorpes Beer Festival along with the nearby Nottingham House. A brewers tudor outside leads in to a rather plain bar, not really in keeping with the outside at all. The furniture is rather plain and a bit rickety as well. Always a friendly welcome though and usually some chatty punters. They have an onsite micro brewery which can be seen at the rear. Three handpumps, only one of which usually has their own beer on, this is usually Willys Original, but sometimes, especially in Autumn and Winter Willys Old Groyne makes an appearance. There's also a couple of fairly standard guest ales, often Draught Bass. We like it in here and always call in for a couple. They have another bar in Grimsby called SWIGS which stand for Second Willys In Grimsby which is clever.

I have been useing this pub since 1987ish and it is by far the best pub in Cleethorpes, the staff are friendly, the beer is good and the food great, if your near by try it out.
