E TA left this review about The Red Lion

A roadside inn which offers B&B in detached small chalets. There is a car park and a rather uninspiring garden, but it all looks tidy enough. The three bar areas are contiguous, and there are plenty of architectural features to admire including structural timbers and an inglenook with a warming woodburner. The rear bar area forms a games room and has a pool table. Food is freshly made but it’s nothing special and not reallt that cheap – clearly the tourist trade is their main concern, but that’s not surprising given the pub’s propinquity to Glastonbury Tor. There was local cider available, complementing a line up of three ales and three craft beers. The former were Gorge Best, Proper Job and Pitchfork’s Frogbit, the latter from Sam Adams, Meantime and another that I forgot to note. The ales were in fair condition. It’s OK, I’d stop here again if passing, and it would probably be a decent enough place to spend the night.
