A terrace town pub in a Victorian terrace, with no real ale and which doesn’t allow dogs in. The single bar is decorated and furnished in 1960s style, with a fireplace, bar, chairs and tables. It’s friendly enough (unless you're a dog - their entry policy is overtly speciesist), and they do have a boxed cider on, but it’s really not somewhere I’d want to spend time as there are better pubs near the station.
