Now owned by Stonegate Pub Company after purchase from JD Wetherspoon. Reopened as "Kings Tap" on 14/03/2017 after a months closure for refurbishment. Still JDW type opening hours, 8am - Midnight.

Former dance hall converted by JDW. Large pub with a conservatory. Up to four real ales and food is served all day. Five minutes walk from Cheadle Hulme station.
