Strange place this , as you enter to the left are bar stools and hogsheads as tables , to the right leather sofas and a fish tank , further on cheap plastic chairs and tables (the dining area)tbhrough an archway it is more pub like , a pool table and fake Wurlitzer jukebox , some decent prints on the walls , in the middle of this muddle is a small dance floor and DJ area surrounded by a chrome fence with a ledge for drinks and bar stools , no real ales on (its a psuedo irish bar) so caffreys , guiness and magniers , the guiness is awfull . The service was friendly enough though the customers were not that friendly and every other word seemed to begin with F despite the presence of young kids (running around the bar !!)If you can get past the gaggle of chain smoking 14 year old girls and there prams to get in you will probally be disapointed , easilly the worst pub in town

the claddagh is a local pub that evolves when it gets dark, to the place where everyone wants to be . during the day time live sports are shown on the big screen and also on the screens outside, due to the heaters and the awnings even when it rains your can still quite comfortably sit outside. the night brings a live dj, karaoke and other various entertainment each night of the week. it has a brilliant atmosphere which allows a fun environment to be able to relax and enjoy your weekend. i would personally highly recommend visiting this establishment which caters to the wants and needs of all differnent ages with a comprehensive availablility behind the bar at very good prices .

Called in last night for a look in here on a Thursday evening. Small DJ/dance floor area in the middle, pool room towards the back. Decent pictures of film stars/pop stars etc ion the walls. Has a couple of small areas with leather sofas, one of which has a fish tank. Only fizz on the bar of course, however it is only £1.70 per pint. I don't think I'll become a regular, but it wasn't too bad just for one.

Now renamed The Claddagh. Sells lots of Guiness, Carling and shows football if that is your kinda thing.
