Oggwyn Great left this review about Stellings Lounge Sports Bar

Formerly known as the Red lion and laterly the Wellington Arms this place has undergone a major £200,000 refurb , there is an outdoor seating area either side of the main entrance , the bar is straight ahead as you enter , to the right it opens out and there is some decent seating , to the left are a couple of seperate areas divided by a large old brick fireplace and an exit to the rear outside drinkink area , there are 5 large plasma TVs dotted around and lots of sporting photos . Usual tap stuff and three handpulls GK IPA , Wadworth 6X and Cornish Tribute(the pump clip was hand written , i assume it was St Austell) which was OK if a little hazy served by a friendly barmaid . It was pretty busy and the staff were friendly and efficient , it looks like a decent addition to the pub scene in Wellington

ROB Camra left this review about Wellington Arms

This is a bit of a strange place in my opinion, I think it’s something to do with the layout. It’s a big place but as you walk in you almost walk into a pool table. There are two smart rooms to the left with dining tables and chairs and some decent wood fittings etc but there was no-one in either of them. There is a seating area to the right, but this looks a bit bare, there is also a couple of comfy chairs/settee in the main room to the left of the pool table. The bar is facing you when you enter, there were two handpumps on the bar but only Old Speckled Hen was on. I tried it and it was pretty average. There were quite a few people in on my last visit at about 8. Some young girls who looked like they were just starting out for a major night in town, a few people sat in the window seats and a few bar leaners like myself. It looks to be doing OK but it still feels a bit wrong somehow to me.
