A half decent pub. It does real ale and for that it gets a tick. Of an afternoon its full of pensioners, well it was on this visit.

A terraced Georgian pub and former hotel. It is in white brick, with black paintwork and has two rounded, two ogee and two dormer windows. There is a central classically moulded entrance. The interior has a single L-shaped room, which extends at the back, up a small staircase. The decor is cream, coffee and patterned wallpaper. Lots of TVs are scattered about, showing sport and there was no music. Old sport photos are on the walls. There is a dartboard at the front. The service was fine and the place was very busy with a good, mixed clientele. Beer; usuual keg stuff with Ringwood Boondoggle and an OK a best Jennings Robin Red Breast. A place for sport, which at least does real ale. Run-of-the-mill really.

Reopened after a major refurb by Amber Inns and they have got rid of the stupid Rasputins name (it has been called the Raven for around 200 years), the front of the pub is the bar area with a dartboard and gambling machines to the left of the entrance , theres a small alcove to the right , the large L shaped bar is on the left , the pub then opens out with a couple of curved high backed seats facing a huge TV with more seating in front then steps lead up to another small area , there are around a dozen TVs scattered around , lots of darkwood and expensive looking wallpaper , usual keg taps Fosters , John Smiths etc and three handpulls with Pedigree , Hobgoblin and Marstons Sweet Chariot which was OK and a bargain £2 20 , beers appear to be priced to compete with the nearby Wetherspoons , staff were friendly enough and the locals appear to be mainly 40 somethings who were regulars in the pubs 80s heyday . A decent addition to Wellingtons pub scene

Used to be known as the Raven when it was a proper pub . The bar is to the left as you enter , no cask just carling/worthington etc , its now just one big room with a small dance area at the back . I was the only person in here over 20 so did`nt stay long

Tried to call in for one last night. I couldn't get through the door for a couple of thick, chavvy knobheads smoking in the entrance hallway who wouldn't move. Having already been in 2 nightmare pubs in Wellington last night I suddenly decided to give this one a miss. Wellington is a dump!
