Oggwyn Great left this review about The Pheasant Inn

Reopened after being closed for a good 4/5 years , the Pheasant is located in the older part of Wrockwardine Wood , a couple of terraced streets and old miners cottages (with the odd newer home)huddle together under the watchfull eye of the Cockshut , the last remaining piece of woodland in the area , to fit in the new landlords have painted the exterior PINK !
The interior is h shaped , various refurbs over the years have seen the old 3 room layout change to open plan , the bar is L shaped and is in the narrowest part of the pub , one alcove has a large mural of the Ironbridge , the other lots of boxing photos , its very blue in here , blue walls, carpet and ambient lighting . Despite its small size it seems geared to live entertainment , kareokee , singers etc .
A large newly painted sign on the outside declares , Freehouse - Traditional Ales , it may be a freehouse but theres not a handpull in sight so no traditional ale unless Caffreys Cold or Guiness is traditional , service was OK if not overly friendly .
Nice to see an old pub reopening , but not really my sort of place
