Alan Winfield left this review about The White Lion

The White Lion is a decent looking white painted pub that is at the top end of honeywall.
Once inside there was a single room with the bar facing, there was a pool table to the right in the bare brick area of the pub and a raised area to the left, the seating was comfy bench type near the bar and normal tables and chairs to the right, there was a TV at each end of the room showing Stoke v Chelsea, these had Spanish commentery which seemed a bit strange.
There were lots of framed pencil drawings on the walls.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of McMullens Country bitter which was served in a carling glass, but this turned out to be a very nice drink, the other beer was Bombardier.
The pub was smart enough and there was a decent amount of locals in,i was quite happy having a drink here.
