Alan Winfield left this review about The Travellers Rest

The Travellers Rest is situated next to a very busy road junction.
Once inside the pub had two seperate rooms i had a drink in the bar which was to the left, this room was narrow at the front and widened out to the rear, the floor was stone tiled and the seating was comfy bench type with chairs and small stools, there was a TV on at the far end of the room showing England play Switzerland at football not sure where they got this game from but Stuart Pearce was playing.
The lounge to the right was smaller.
There were two pumps on the bar with one unclipped,i had a drink of Courage best which was a decent enough drink.
The pub was fairly busy with locals in there late 20s.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
