Alan Winfield left this review about The Talbot Inn

The Talbot Inn is a decent looking mock tudor pub that is just off the town centre.
Once inside the pub has two seperate rooms,we had a drink in the room to the left which is the lounge, this room is square shaped with the bar facing, the room is carpeted and has bench seating and small stools,it seemed a bit down at heel to me and in need of a slight refurb.
The bar on the right side is oblong shaped and quite basic with bench seating a pool table and darts board.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Pedigree, this was a decent enough drink.
This is a pretty basic pub.
