Comfortable little pub, handy for Macclesfield Canal, with a slightly confusing layout of interconnecting rooms, some traditional, some modern. Very much a diners' pub, with various food awards, but does offer a good selection of ales from the wider Marstons range, including regular examples from Jennings. Occasional live music and quizzes.
