Not that bad a pub on entering with a decent selection of Bear town beers. The prick/owner behind the bar sadly makes this a pub to avoid. The beer I had had a slight sour taste and the soft lad behind the bar kicked off, told me to feck off and dont come back (which I'm more than happy to do). The friendly owner was OK until I said that beer was slightly off. Feck him, feck the place.

Whacky place in a town that had the Roysten Vaseys about it. The interior, which smelt of boiled cabbages and farts, was freezing cold. Décor was turquoise and red walls (in striking tones), set over in a lower case h-shape interior. A plethora of Marilyn Monroe stuff to look at, JFK would be impressed. No staff in situ, had to holler for service. After receiving a pretty pitiful Cross Bay Nightfall he disappeared again, via shouting at the one other customer for having the temerity to plug he phone into a socket for a quick boost. On heading to the bogs (which looked like they were still decorated for Halloween, expect that the spiders and cobwebs were actually real) I passed a slow cooker, presumably doing Houdini’s lunch which explained the fart smells. I won’t mention the random woman who appeared from upstairs later on who didn’t appear to have anything to do with the pub (I was hoping it was the cleaner for the gents), or the implement behind the bar that looked like it was being stored for the local Triads. It was an experience here that I won’t forget in a hurry, not that I wish to repeat it. 1.5

The oddfellows Arms is on Tunstalls main square.
This is a small one room pub that is very old fashioned inside, when i went in here the pub was empty and as the last person who reviewed said there was no atmosphere at all.
There were two real ales on here i had a drink of Banks's bitter which was not bad the other beer was Pedigree.
It was nice when i got outside this pub it was like a breath of fresh air.

What can one say.....? Indeed a little boozer which has a 60's feel to it. The original incipit coloured Formica topped tables and uncomfortable chairs; don’t give this little hapless place a homely feel. I once asked for a pint of bitter and half a pint of happiness. A little joke as the place was dead and boring. The woman behind the bar looked at me as if I had walked off the first space ship. This place should be renamed the Moon, as there is no atmosphere. If you have just left the Sahara desert and have not had a drink for 2 weeks, then this pub will suffice, otherwise don't bother. No effort is made to make you feel welcome and no effort has been shown in making this place hospitable. So why waste your effort in handing over your
