Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Mere Inn

A Joule's house, with the bar and a couple of seating areas in the original building and rather more space in the wood-panelled and partitioned single-storey side extension. All as traditionally furnished and decorated as you would expect, plus a decent patio beer garden to boot. With four of five handpumps in use, I found the Pale Ale, Pure Blonde, Slumbering Monk and the citrusy Son of Man (£3.90).

A Joules run pub and as with the others I've been in its very good. Real ales available. Usual wood panelled decor and bigger than it looks from outside. A boars head stares down at you in one of the snugs as you come in.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Mere Inn

The Mere Inn is a smallish pub on the main road through Alsager and close to the middle.
Once inside the pub was fairly basic but comfortable enough and there were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of London Pride which tasted slightly off the other beers were Bombadier, Deuchars IPA and GK Abbot.
