Alan Winfield left this review about The Cottage Inn

The Cottage is a nice looking white painted pub that is set on a bend on london road.
Once inside there is a single square shaped room with the bar to the left, there was a pie warming machine on the bar which was full of pies and sausage rolls, the seating was very cofy bench type which ran around the edge of the room and small stools.
There was a TV on showing some crap american programme.
No real ales or pumps on the bar but there were two keg options Theakston best or John Smiths smooth crap,i opted for the Theakstons which was a pretty poor drink.
There is a nice looking garden to the rear for warmer weather.
This is a pleasant enough pub that is let down badly by having no real ales on the bar.
