Soup Dragon left this review about The White Hart

A large detached white and beam, with some brick build, with dormer windows and beer garden - i believe it is a grade II listed building and it has character.

The interior had two rooms that i saw; the lounge and bar. The bar was in white artex, with black ceiling and support beams, with some brick as well. There was a TV, which had the racing on, and a dart board. There were some bits of beer memorabilia around as well as prints of the pub on the walls. The service was fine and the clientele mixed, mainly because i was with a coach party that decended on the place - which they coped with well.

Beer; some tap stuff, but what a class choice on handpull; there was Shropshire Gold, Exmoor Gold, Wye Valley HPA and Holdend Bitter that i didnt try - the Enville Ale, Enville Porter and Holden's MILD were a treat.

What a quality establishment. If i do not return to this pub it is because i have died.

One of my regular haunts in Shifnal and has the best beer selection in the town. Has 6 handpumps dispensing assorted Shropshire ales on 4 and guests from further afield on the other 2. I've never had a bad pint in here and I've been in quite a lot. Two rooms, both effectively lounges, both nicely decorated. Friendly staff and regulars, I always end up talking to someone at the bar in here. A must visit in Shifnal.

Update to my comments of July 2008. An half timbered olde worlde pub with a small car park. Several excellent guest real ales compliment the wonderful regular real ales. A view of heaven. If all pubs were like this they'd never close. I'd visit more often but the taxi fare home is a little too much so I've decided to move to the village.
