Real Ale Ray left this review about Jaspers Arms

A good sized pub this one with three main areas, front bar and lounge, a side section for darts and a further lounge area mainly for dining, down the left hand side. The interior decor was traditional with dark reds & green painted areas and stained timber. The main lounge area hosted a log burning stove and the ceilings were covered in a variety of pump clips.
Four handpumps along the front bar, HPA, Butty Bach, Holden's Golden Glow, GK IPA.

Decent pub with a few tables out the front to watch the world go by. 4 ales on when I called - Greene King IPA, Three Tuns pale ale, Holden's Best Bitter and Golden Glow. The 2 we tried were in good nick. Well worth a visit.

Formerly known as the Union , it was heaving on my visit so could not get much of a look around , only two of the four handpulls on with GK IPA and Holdens Mild which i took outside to drink as it was so busy inside .
Easilly the busiest pub on my visit to Shifnal but not sure i would visit again

A rather garish mustardy painted pub and restuarant that occupies a couple of older buildings, most of which is the restaurant part. Also has a beer garden.

I didnt see the dining area, or eat, so can't comment on that, but the pub/bar room decor is like the Harlequins rugby shirt. with a mix of red, brown and white artex walls, with white painted ceiling and support beams. There are no real picures, just a couple of mirrors on the walls and dart board in the corner. The service was fine, the clientele a couple of blokes. We simply headed out to the beer garden, hence the briefer review.

Beer; tap stuff with Jennings Cumberland Ale and a decent enough Banks's MILD on handpull.

Doubtless it would be a better experience to eat and drink here. The kind of place that you stop for one.

This is restaurant with a separate bar that feels like a proper pub. It’s quite small and has a dartboard at one end along with a video machine with golf etc on it. Has two handpumps on the pub side selling Banks’s Bitter and a Roosters beer. I asked for a pint of the Roosters and the barmaid walked round to the restaurant side of the bar, she came back with a pint and I said “I asked for Roosters” and she assured me it was. It was definitely a keg beer. I don’t know what was going on here, whether it was a mistake or not, but the bottom line is that I was served a keg beer when the pumpclip was on a handpump. Not happy.
