A corner pub with conservatory and large beer garden, with a tidy white rendered exterior.

The interior, as ROB says, is an L-shaped room in red, cream and wood panel, with blue carpet. To the right there is a pool table and dart board. We played pool and there was a bit of interest supplied by some footy pictures and memorabilia. According to their website they do food, but we didn't eat. The service was fine, there was no other clientele and there was Sky TV, which was switched onto some charty music channel.

Beer; tap stuff, with GK IPA on handpull, so had a half, which was OK

I think ROB sums it up really, it is a basic place serving basic beer.

Fairly nondescript L shaped pub with a lounge area and a pool table to the right as you enter and a further lounge area with a dart board and a quiz machine at the end and a door through to a conservatory, also has a decent sized garden with benches. It was a keg only pub for some time but now has two handpumps although I’ve only ever seen one beer on. This is usually Banks’s bitter and the quality has been rather in an out the last few times I’ve been. Never undrinkable but never excellent either. They probably don’t sell enough for it to be really good. Last time I visited they had no cask ale on at all, given that they have huge sign outside stating “We now sell cask ales” I don’t think that this is acceptable. It’s a very average pub and I wouldn’t make a special effort to go. If I call in I’m usually on my way to/from The White Hart.
