Aqualung . left this review about The Oak Inn

This is a pleasant old pub that is long and narrow with a small basic public bar area at the front, the bar counter in the middle and a more comfortable lounge area at the rear. There is a corridor on the left and a garden at the rear that I didn't venture into. There are various old cigarette posters and enamel adverts on display. My biggest gripe about this place is the TV screens, there were three in the public bar area and at least one in the lounge.
The two bars have six hand pumps which had Bass, Thwaite's Wainwright, Stonehouse Station Bitter & Cambrian Gold, Oakham Endless Summer and a cider. I went for the Station Bitter (£2.55) which was in good nick and good value.
What a shame that all those TV screens spoil this place.

A nice pub. A small bar is at the front and a bigger lounge to the back. Friendly staff. Real ale available.
