A fairly imposing lookin Marston's pub. 2 roomed but only the bar to the right was open this Tuesday afternoon. A fairly standard interior here with a 1970s feel. A pool table is to the right of the bar. 3 handpumps but only Marston's Saddle Tank on 2 of them. Its not a bad pub but like a few in Market Drayton a disappointment beer wise.

The Stags Head is a stern looking bare brick built pub that is next door to the Red Lion.
Once inside i went in the bar which was to the right, this was a very basic room that extended to the rear of the pub,it had a lino floor and bench seating facing the bar with chairs, there was a pool table to the rear and a dart board to the front right,a TV was showing horse racing.
The seperate lounge to the left was locked and out of use at the time of my visit.
This pub is a Marstons house and there was one real ale on the bar, this was Marstons Burton bitter which was a very nice drink.
The pub was fairly busy with older drinkers.
I enjoyed my drink in here and it was a decent enough pub to end my Market Drayton crawl in.
