Oggwyn Great left this review about Gingerbread Man

Large Fayre and Square Pub/Restuarant situated just outside the towns ring road near the Cattle Market .
Its name derives from the Towns most famous product Gingerbread .
As pointed out in the previous review it is just one large barn of a room divided into seperate areas with the Bar central .
Lots of people dining(mainly families) with just a few drinkers , the outside play area was very busy .
Usual keg taps and two handpulls with GK IPA and a pleasant enough Black Sheep , service was very good .
Not my usual sort of place but OK for a quick stop when with the kids .

Alan Winfield left this review about Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man is a very large modern pub that is situated to the north of the town centre.
Once inside there was one very large room with the bar facing, the room was divided into different areas and had a mix of bench seating and normal tables and chairs, the room was carpeted throughout and there was some decent music playing.
There were two pumps on the bar both offering Bombardier which i had a dirnk of,this was drinkable but i have had better.
The pub was very busy with families with young children who were dining then running it off by charging round the pub, they would have been better off going in the wacky wharehouse which is attached to the pub.
This pub is very child friendly and caters for car drivers, not walkers like myself who had to climb over a fence to gain access or face a 10 days camal hike to get to the car entrance.
If you are a beer drinker who likes proper pubs then this one is best avoided,if you drive a car and have tribe of kids in the back it might be right up your street.
