Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Kings Arms

Nice old pub, with the expected (partly recreated?) Joule's very traditional-looking interior. Features an island bar at the front, with other seating / dining areas further back. Four cask beers on the five handpumps: Pure Blonde, Pale, Slumbering Monk and the seasonal Chocolate Corker stout (£4.10).

One of the best Joules pubs we have visited, the landlady was so welcoming and chatty. This is a very well kept pub and would be my local if I lived in the area. The pub consisted of a front bar and lounge area, with a corridor that led past the side of the bar and kitchen area and further back to a large dining area. I went for the Woods Born and Bred, which was a good session beer. As this is a Joules pub, the interior was traditional and had some nice features including a Grandfather clock.

Will Larter left this review about Kings Arms

A very nice locals pub with bare floorboards and a very welcome real fire. The beers are from Joules: Pale Ale, Blonde and Slumbering Monk. There was a group of locals at the bar at the time of my early evening visit, and I got the impression of a well-run and friendly pub which has the added bonus, compared with the nearby micropub, of being open on a Monday.

Oggwyn Great left this review about Kings Arms

Small pub on the quieter end of the High Street , the bar is straight in front of you as you enter the J shaped interior , to the left is a small alcove with an old fireplace to the right a large TV (OFF ON MY VISIT) and the main part of the pub , a door at the far end leads to a small courtyard , lots of wood around and some old pictures decorate the walls .
Usual keg taps and two handpulls with Bombardier and an OK TT Landlord served by the friendly landlord .
Its decent enough in here at the moment but i believe it is being taken over by Joules in the near future who will i am sure make it something really special .
