The Vine Inn is a decent looking pub that is next to the Fosters Arms.
Once inside the bar faces in a small oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub,the floor is carpeted and there is a beamed ceiling, there is bench seating and chairs for seating, the TV to the right was showing music videos.
The pub is a Banks's house so it was good to see two Banks's beers on the bar,i had a drink of Banks's Bitter, which went down very well, the other real ale was Banks's Sunbeam.
The pub was quite busy on our Saturday afternoon visit.
This is the sort of pub i would like to take my wife to and settle in for a session.

Note: Rob Camras review is not of this pub but of a pub in Ironbridge

Old Boots left this review about The Vine Inn

A single room boozer sparsely furnished with benches and a few tables, two of which are set up for Dominoes. There was a funny smell on entering which turned out to be flowers – Lillys for someone’s birthday, personally I hate that smell but each to their own. Two pulls with an average Banks’s Bitter plus the usual stuff on the T Bars. Carpeted throughout and with white tongue and groove in parts, red painted walls above. A water colour of the pub plus a few old maps brighten up the place along with a jolly landlady and some happy punters. It’s very dog friendly and is probably older than it looks. The music was being provided from an ancient iMac behind the bar.

A small brick faced pub. The interior is open plan, with white plain walls and beam look. There was an absence of tables, due i think to the karaoke guy setting up - which shows how small it is. There was also Sky TV. It wasnt that clean, but the seats were ok. The service was fine and the it was being well used, then there were only 10 seats in the place (no, it wasnt that bad)

Beer wise, well, non-descript. All the usual tosh, no handpulls, just Banks's MILD Cask on electric pump, which was fine.

Lowtown seems to be full of these non-descript places, except for the Black Horse, which is excellent. Wont bother with this one again

I'm not surprised that nobody has bothered to review this pub, there's not much to say about it really. It's a shabby, keg only pub that didn't even have any Guinness on last night. Having been told that even this wasn't available I left without having a drink. I can't be bothered wasting my time in these places. I went around the corner for a decent pint at the Black Horse.
