The Kings Head is a nice looking pub that is situated on a side street just off the main shopping street.
Once inside there is an irregular shaped which has a stone floor, the seating is bench seating and normal tables and chairs, the rear area of the room is down one step.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hobsons Twisted Spire, which went down very well, the other real ales were Hobsons Best,Hobsons Town Crier and Wye Valley HPA.
We thought this was a very pleasant pub to have a drink in and much better than the Stables Bar which is behind it.

Wow - C16th Coaching House. #1 for food in Bridgnorth (according to Tripadvisor), in the Good Beer Guide 2017.

Had to be checked out.

Lived up to all expectations. Great staff. Prompt Service. Excellent Food and the best Hobsons Town Crier I have had.

The Stable Bar in the back courtyard is worth checking out - although its nothing to do with the pub.

This 16th Century coaching house is worth a visit and as Aqualung mentions, it does look like something from a film set. The pub has two main areas, basically a front and rear room, separated by a short stone wall with an opening for a fire grate. The rear room housed a small bar, with five handpumps, which were offering two from Hobson's, Wye Valley HPA, Ma Pardoes and Three Tuns Stout. I am not an avid fan of dark beers, but knowing the quality of Three Tuns, I went for a half of their stout, which was very good.

This is a genuine old pub in the heart of the High Town. It's so Olde Worlde it could almost be a film set with flagstone floors, beams and roaring fires.
I got here just before midday on a Saturday and it was starting to fill with people mostly looking for food.
The beer choice from the five hand pumps was rather pedestrian compared to earlier posts consisting of Hobson's Twisted Spire & Town Crier, Wye Valley HPA, Exmoor Gold and Butcombe Gold. I went for the Wye Valley HPA (£3.00) which was not just in excellent nick but a fair bit cheaper than expected for a food orientated pub that attracts tourists.

Old Boots left this review about The Kings Head Hotel

Old looking, half timbered and low beamed with a nice modern floor. The counter facing you as you enter has a depressing line up of kegs founts, however hiding round the corner further back is a bank of five pulls dispensing beers from small local brewers. Three Tuns, Broughs, Kelham Island and GK Abbot plus a further four beers listed on a small blackboard – I didn't note them but they may have been the Bridgnorth beers alluded to below. The counter itself is a board on barrels affair. Most of the furniture matches, especially in the front bar and its adjacent dining area. The back bar is more eclectic but still slightly pretentious.

The exterior is in a stunning Tudor style, the interior is a mix of the old beam structure and a new modern style, that i just didnt like, though clearly i am in a minority it seems from what others have said to me

There is a nice beer patio area, which i retreated to, as i didnt like the inside and due to the fact is was glorious weather. The Bridgnort Brewing Company are located behing a couple of gates in the yard, closed almost in Wonka fashion!

The beer choice was pretty good, Abbots, Hobsons Town Crier and Best and BBC's Apley. The Apley and the Best were fine.

Will try the stable bar next time if the weather is bad.

I did go back and still hated the interior - and the stable bar. I will stick to the patio even if its peeing down

This is a great pub. Two distinct bar areas. The Stables bar at the back is the Bridgnorth Brewery Tap, which is where you'll find their beers on. Had a pint of the Bridgnorth Apley Bitter which was really good, had another Bridgnorth beer on plus Hobsons Town Crier & Best and Exmoor Gold. Also has an upstairs room over the Stables bar which seems to be more foody. Pretty busy for a freezing cold Tuesday. Ended up in the front bar which has two "real" gas fires, talking to a couple who lived a few miles away. Very pleasant.

Nice place to visit for a glass of pink fizz, not cheap.

Half timbered building near the town centre. The rear of the building houses the Bridgnorth Brewing Company. The front part houses the very good reataurant and a small bar. In the courtyard just behind the restaurant you will find a two floored area called The Stable Bar. Hobson's & BBC real ales available along with Weston's Stowford Press cider. Think the lager is Stella but I never take notice of this type of brew. Superb selection of wines also available. At present this is the 'in' place of Bridgnorth. No parking but near to a municipal car park that is within easy walking distance.
