Not the best pub in Bridgnorth but it seems to serve a purpose to the locals who like horsey watching on tellies. A narrow pub with the bar up a few steps. Fizzpops are on but there are 4 handpulls at the end of the bar. Two beers on from Marston's and pedestrian ones at that.

As noted below this is a long narrow pub split into three areas. I went for the middle area which had a very obtrusive TV showing horse racing which the only other people present were watching. I could also hear a TV blasting out in the front area.
Although the bar has four hand pumps only two were badged and the Banks's Amber had expired. This left Marston's Wainwright (£3.05) which was in reasonable condition but a very dull and pedestrian beer. A while later one of the group watching the horse racing asked the barman to turn up the already blaring volume. I decided to go and wait for my bus.
There are some good pubs in Bridgnorth but this isn't one of them. I wouldn't return as it's more like drinking mediocre beer in a betting shop.

The Harp is a dcent looking pub that is situated on the busy High Street.
Once inside there is a long oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, there are steps up as you go further to the rear, the floor is carpeted, the seating bench type and chairs.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Thwaites Wainwright, which went down well, the other real ale was Banks's Bitter.
There were a few other locals in on our early Saturday dinner visit.
The pub had just been done up with a paint job inside,so it looked quite nice, just a shame that it was not warm enough to be comfortable for a longer stay.

Long narrow pub on two levels, there’s a small front bar with bench seating and a light wood counter which is ale free, only a single T Bar of national brands provides refreshment. The darts board doors are designed like a chest of drawers and the leaded windows hint at a better past. A few steps up is a larger room with the counter to one side, two handpumps here were badged Mild and the other reversed, I guess it’s for bitter as that’s what I was served with. Kegwise it’s more of the familiar faces. The usual screens and machines are dotted about the place, it’s a bog standard town pub.

The black and white half timbered frontage, giving an attempted traditional look gives way to a modern, plain, narrow, but long interior. Its open plan but has three stages, dining, at the back, with a lounge kind of feel at the front. It was clean and the service was fine.

The beer was simply the usual stuff, with Banks's MILD on handpull, so that was a bonus. It was fine.

A non-descript place. It finished bottom of the day's list but it isnt awful in anyway, it just suffers from a plethora of very good places around it

This is a pretty nondescript pub in a town full of great ones. The outside looks OK and the inside is clean and bright. Two handpumps on the bar but only Banks's Original was on, it was OK. Youngish clientele and barmaid but all perfectly decent really. It just doesn't stand out around here.
