Popular pub on this Saturday afternoon visit.
Rather rowdy when I went in but in a friendly way. A few handpulls on the bar with Bass Cask being one. Worth popping your head in.

Very friendly service. We enjoyed a game of pool here along with a decent pint of Hobgoblin Gold. Timothy Taylor Landlord was about to go on. Happy to call in again.

The Bear is a very nice looking pub from the outside.
Once inside the pub has tow separate rooms,we went in the room that seemed to be the best place to be served, this room was oblong shaped and ran to the rear, the floor is bare boarded, there were pew seats and low tables opposite the bar and a darts board to the rear right.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bewdley Worcestershire Way,which was a nice drink, the other real ales noted were Theakston XB,Robinsons Trooper and Youngs Double Chocolate Stout.
The room to the left was empty.
There was decent background music playing.
This is a rock type pub that would not suit some people,we were happy enough having a drink in this pub.

The interior of this pub was quite drab and dated. The place was dark and dingy. There was a feature wall in the main room which depicted an array of rockstars past and present, which was garish and in your face. The right hand room was set out for dining, no one to be seen there, in spite of the town being quite busy on our Saturday afternoon visit. On handpump, Otter and Tribute repeated on both sides of the bar.

This is a Q-pub, looking like a traditional pub from the outside but on the inside is what's known in Newcastle as a “haircut bar” , because you go there to show off your expensive, trendy haircut. One side of the pub has a counter bearing all keg founts the other has four handpumps and some Guinness, I was as impressed by the beer as I was by the décor. It seems popular for eating as well as posing, all the tables are permanently set. There is a beer garden at the back which may give some relief from those bloody fairy lit twigs.

From the picture it may look like two pubs next door to each other, it isnt, its one pub over the two buildings, the bar being in the larger, the lounge in the smaller. White and chocolate brown exterior, with beer patio. The rooms are the modern plain wall with arty pictures used sparingly, fake black beams, twigs in some buckets with fairy lights on (whats that all about?) and a mix of the same brown sofas you see everywhere else and tables and chairs.

There was little in the way of clientele; one chap eating what looked to be a good portion of Sunday Roast, anothe rperched at the bar. The guy behind the bar was friendly enough

Beer wise; usual tosh, with Wyre Valley HPA, Hobgoblin and GK IPA. The Hobgoblin was ok.

Another traditional pub - it was when i last visited some 12 years ago - murdered on the interior with the sofa look. Too many decent pubs in Bridgnorth to waste on uninspiring places - may pop in once in several trips.
